TMS is engaged in providing Finance, HR, Board services and Corporate Events Management, as well as Leadership Development and Insights through its subsidiaries, Trusted Services and the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) respectively.
Director
Mr. Goh Yong Siang
Goh Yong Siang was appointed to the TMS Board in 2012. He was a Senior Managing Director in Temasek International. Prior to Temasek, he was in private equity in Dallas, Texas from 1999 to 2006, after he retired as Chief of the Air Force in 1998. He currently sits on the Boards of Temasek Cares, Temasek Management Services, SCGC, Hexagon Development, Pavilion Capital and chairs FTSI International in Fortworth, Texas.
Yong Siang holds a BA from the National University of Singapore and attended the Advanced Management Programme in Harvard Business School. He was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Gold), the Indonesian Air Force Medal, the Knight Grand Cross of the Crown of Thailand, the Yellow Grand Cordon of the Resplendent Banner of Taiwan and the Legion of Honour (France).
Mr. Soo Kok Leng
Chairman
Mr. Soo joined Hewlett-Packard Pte Ltd in 1977 as an engineer and was with the company in Singapore and the United States for a total of 20 years. He subsequently worked for Falmac Ltd as Executive Director and Group GM, where he was responsible for worldwide business, and for 3Com Asia Pacific Pte Ltd as a Director. He helped set up 3Com Technologies, and was responsible for 3Com's regional supply chain and customer support in Asia Pacific.
Since 2002, Mr. Soo has been focused on management consulting. He has also been, and still is, actively involved in various boards of private and public companies as well as government agencies. Some of his current appointments include Chairman of CapitaLand Commercial Trust Management Ltd, Chairman of Singapore Storage & Warehouse Pte Ltd and Governor of Singapore-China Foundation. Mr Soo has been a Non-Resident Ambassador to Austria since 2006 and is also a corporate advisor to Temasek International.
Mr. Soo holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) from the University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. He is an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Engineering, Engineering & Technology Management.
Director
Ms. Chan Wai Ching
Ms Chan Wai Ching joined Temasek in June 2006 and is currently Joint Head, Corporate Development Group and Head, Organisation & People. As part of Temasek's senior leadership team, Wai Ching oversees all of Temasek's organisational, human capital and leadership matters. In addition, she also works with and supports the boards of Temasek's portfolio companies in putting together high calibre boards, appropriate board remuneration framework, and management incentive plans. In this regard, she also sits on the Remuneration Committees of select portfolio companies.
Prior to Temasek, Wai Ching’s career in human resources spans 27 years, including senior appointments at Fullerton Financial Holdings, Citibank N.A., Singapore Technologies Pte Ltd, United Overseas Bank and Overseas Union Bank.
Wai Ching holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore, a graduate diploma in HR management and completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School in 2012.
